STILL, one of my favorite television shows. I always appreciated that there was a moral lesson or message the writers wanted to convey to the viewers. Too bad there aren't tv programs like this around today. The industry seems more interested in creating programs that promote sex, violence, and other self-indulgent crap, rather than honest, worthwhile programs that try to communicate thought provoking, positive ideas and values.

The new repackaged USA DVDs are a good deal. I didn't have Season 2 until now. On the original DVD release, I tried 3 copies of Season 2. There was some kind of glitch that prevented all my DVD players from recognizing some of the discs. I recently bought Volume 3 (the new Season 2 set). Everything plays fine. I got it for $16 USD during Deep Discount's recent sale! The original Season 2 set cost twice that much. Note that the box has incorrect info for the discs & contents - it seems like they planned to put everything on 2 discs instead of 3. But the disc cases have the correct info. The discs and contents are actually the same as the original DVD release. Cheers, Doug

Now that were all into DVD's it time to get the entire seires (Again!) I remember watching these episodes back when I was a boy in the 1960's. By todays standards, some of the effects are pretty antique, but the writing is timeless! Stephen King called it some of the best science fiction writing of the 1960's (Paraphrasing) So if it touched Stephen King, you KNOW it must be good! Well worth the time and expense. Consider it an investment!

Does anyone have the episode when these crew members of a ship get raided and infected by aliens and near the end when the black or white geeza turns into an alien and goes 'Im so sorry, i have to do this... If anybody really wants to get thier hands on all the episodes from the new outerlimits I have them all on DVD as AVI files which can be watched on PC or converted very easily and burned to DVD. I have new series(season) 1- 7 which is about 160 episodes approx.. I would like to know if A NEW LIFE is available anywhere on DVD??? It's the episode where Nick Mancuso plays the leader of a cult that lures Brad Rowe and Jeremy Sisto. A very good episode and I'd love to see it on DVD!!! You have a very nice thorough site on OL too.
