even though I loved the pilot first episode, "the galaxy being", my really favorite was "the guests". the creature was really creepy for an 11 year old kid and the young girl in this episode, (her name was tess) gave me such a crush! Thank you Leslie Stevens, Daystar productions, and ABC television for having the vision to present such a great series.

I TOO LOVED THE OLD OUTER LIMITS SERIES, THE NEW HAD NOTHING FOR ME (WELL I HAVE NOT SEEN IT ANYWAYS) I WORK AT A MIDDLE SCHOOL WHERE WE HAVE REMODELED AND ADDED A 4 MONITOR VIDEO SYSTEM IN THE CAFETERIA SO WHY LET IT GO TO WASTE? I SHOW THESE SPOILED TEENS ALL THE RECENT MOVIES I CAN GET MY HANDS ON USUALLY ONE A WEEK AND FILL THE EXTRA TIME WITH TWILIGHT ZONE (30 MINUTES AND TELLS A STORY TOO WITH A MORAL SOMETIMES) OR SPLIT OLD OUTER LIMIT SHOW INTO 2 DAYS, IT MAKES THEM THINK AND IF IT GIVE'S THEM A SCARE GOOD THEY NEED SOMETHING SHOCKING ONCE AND A WHILE WE CAN'T GIVE THEM THE PADDLE ANYMORE ANYWAYS! I COLLECTED MY COMPLETE CLASSIC OL SERIES ON EBAY COST CLOSE TO $200.00 BUT ITS HIGH QUAILTY! NOTHING BEATS THE OLD CLASSIC OL WELL WRITTEN, & ACTED!

Looking for 2 episodes and the NOL "on-line" library does not carry anything other than the Sandkings. Does anyone out there have these two: Double Helix - March 28, 1997 (season 3), and The Origin of Species -November 27, 1998 (season 4). Thanks.

Hi... I'm from Malaysia and a recent convert to the series.
I watched "Dead Man's Switch" recently, but never got to the ending. Could somebody please tell me how it ends?
Thank You very much....

Good site. Very informative and quick to verify. Needed some info about the episode where my fave actress Rachael Leigh Cook has played (Glyphic) and found it. Keep on going for your great job. Claude, RLC Signature (unofficial, but informative web site about Rachael Leigh Cook, from She's all That !)

BEST MESSAGE: Anyone who thinks any Sequel or 'NextGen'
serial can surpass the venerable essence of any True "Original", consider this: "Original" moreoverly denotes Juncture of Time and Place, therefore Original Outer Limits ("OL") can NEVER be collectively transcended or duplicated ever again! Why? Original OL occured within the unrepeatable time frame between the Kennedy Assassination and the rise of the Beatles, epitomising 'Surreal Television' by artfully blending 60's Mind Expansion potential with Distrust of Government.
Could it be that, The Sixth Finger was an hallucinogenic reification of E. Bronte's, "Wuthering Heights" (to the 10th power!), or that the displaced super-antiquated Bride in, Don't Open Until Doomsday, wasn't Mrs. (4-way) Haversham, straight out of Dickens?
Think about it! Look it up! Write me! I just might be from the Future!

The original series was one of the most intelligent, thought provoking, frightening (for me, as a child seeing them, first run!) and "human" of its kind, ever. Ienjoy them just as much, if not more, now as an adult-the stories were well written and acted, the opening and closing monologues were great, Dom Frontiere is a GENIUS-no other superlative will suffice- THANK YOU Leslie Stevens,et al for taking the huge risk that you did for the time. Favorite episodes; Galaxy Being, Architects of Fear , Man who was Never Born, Hundred Days of the Dragon. Thanks Again!

We have the fourth series running here at the moment late at night and my tape ran out. Can anyone tell me how did the episode "the vaccine" ended I only saw half. Do any sites have the full stories outlined (including ending), not just the brief bit from the official site???

NOTHING CAN COMPARE TO YHE OLD OUTER LIMITS SERIES FROM THE EARLY TO MID 60,S THESE ARE ALL TRULY CLASSIC EPISODES. I ALWAYS LIKED THE SCARY SOUND EFFECT MUSIC THAT WAS PLAYED DURING THE SHOW. IM STARTING A COLECTION OF THE CLASSICS ASAP. GREAT WEBSITE YOU HAVE HERE

Hey, folks! I'm a first-time visitor. Just wanted to let you know you've done a killer job here. I'm glad someone maintains archives like this for folks like me. Wile I've caught many of the new series eps., I've never seen eps. of the original series before now (SciFi is running them, _in_order_) so i'm not sure which show i like best, but the old stuff is still good.
thanx again, M.

Great site! I am a hugh fan of the original Ol's. Unlike most here, I wasn't even born when these shows aired but fell in love with this program the very first time I saw it. I hope I don't offend anyone but must say that im NOT a fan of the newer OL's. It's nothing like the old ones IMO.
I wanted to let everyone know that the Sci-fi channel is now airing the old version of OL in the afternoon. I've waited a long time for this! Hopefully I can complete my collection now. :) So if you missed a few or want to see them again, check your listings.

Quickly, I would like to say I've been a fan since the sixties.
I suffered many a night of nightmares from The Zanti Misfits and I must say,I surely miss those adolescent, truly horrifying, dreams.
Yes,and now I'm excited all over again. BRAVO! To the new episodes!
Please put me on your mailing list or anything, thank you,

I can still remember seeing my first episode, "The Galaxy Being" with Cliff Robertson. I was only six at the time and I called it "OuterInner". Some of the new stuff is okay, but nothing like the 60's episode.

Although THE TWILIGHT ZONE is my favorite TV show, THE OUTER LIMITS is very high on my list. It's special to me because it debuted on my 7th birthday; it's like a birthday present to me.
